Office & Retail Renovation in Valley Village
Valley Village office and retail renovation organized around two decisions, where people enter and where they pay or check in, then everything else.
Everything on a Valley Village shop floor hangs off one decision: where people enter and where they pay. Move the counter and the aisles, lighting and signage all follow. An office has the same pivot at reception. We settle that point with you first and test it against the available wall and electrical locations before drawing the rest.
Placing the pivot
The counter or reception desk needs power, data and sometimes plumbing, so its position is limited by what is already in the slab and walls. Moving it costs trenching or wall work, and we say so before you choose. A desk placed near the entry greets visitors, while one placed deeper draws them across the floor. We mock up both locations with tape on the floor so the choice is made on the space, not on paper. Floor outlets, a recessed conduit or a core drill through the slab are all possible, but each has limits, and the survey tells us which one the space will allow.
Everything that follows
With the pivot set, aisles, display walls and seating are laid out around it. Lighting is placed over the counter and the merchandise, with the empty floor left dim, and storage sits where staff can restock without crossing the customer route. Signage mounts to blocking installed during framing. A change of mind after the walls close is expensive, so we review the layout with you once before framing begins. Seating areas keep a clear zone around them, and coat storage, a staff station or a small fitting room is added only where the floor can hold it without pinching the main route.

Office & Retail Renovation in Valley Village: questions
Often, yes. We stage the work, seal the active zone and move noisy tasks to hours you set. A brief full closure can suit flooring or a counter relocation, and we will present that choice with the phased plan.
The written quote follows the layout: how much is demolished, how far the counter and utilities move, the finishes and any storefront work. Hidden conditions are priced apart from the base so the two never blur.
Yes. We replace the glass and doors, check the framing and sill, and flash the new frame into the wall. Because the entry is the first decision of the layout, we confirm the door position before the glass is ordered.
